Once we have your tapes they join our queue and are done as soon as we can. Most times the job is completed beginning to end in a week or so. Obviously the time taken also depends on how many tapes you send us. Once you have placed your order we will send you a detailed message explaining all your options and where to send your tapes etc.

How does the transfer process work ?

1. Select the number of tapes you need converting and pay via Paypal or bank transfer. Please remember that the buy it now price is for a single tape to be transferred to DVD no matter how much footage is on the tape.

2. We will then send you our studio address to post your tapes to (Please send them recorded/tracked delivery and package them securely). Enclose in your package your full name and contact details you want us to use.

3. We will contact you once we have your tapes to let you know they arrived safely.

4. We will then convert your tapes to DVD’s. This process usually takes around 4-5 working days (We can rush a job through is there is a deadline) depending on the number of tapes sent.

5. We then post your new DVD’s to you. Once you have confirmed you have the DVD’s and you are happy with them we will dispose of your original tapes safely and securely. If you wish the tapes to be returned to you we can do this and only charge the P&P cost to get them back to you.

Important Information. Please read prior to ordering.

We transfer what is on the tape onto the DVD, this price does not include any editing or manipulation. If the footage is bad quality on the tape then it will be bad quality on the DVD.

If the tape is broken or in bad condition we will do what we can to clean the tape. As you can imagine splicing tapes together is a very time consuming process. If this is required we will be in touch to discuss how to proceed.

The DVD produced from this service results in a DVD suitable for watching on a DVD player and a television. It will also play on a PC with DVD player software installed. The DVD footage is NOT designed for video editing purposes on a computer. If you want to be able to edit the footage then please purchase the MP4 format to USB.

PLEASE NOTE THAT UNCLAIMED TAPES/DVDS ARE DESTROYED AND DSISPOSED OF 14 DAYS FROM THE DISPATCH OF THE DVD.
